Our EAL course provides a comprehensive introduction to solar PV and technologies. By completing this 2 day course, you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to design, install, and maintain solar PV systems, making you eligible to become a qualified MCS accredited installer. Throughout the course, you will learn about the fundamentals of solar PV, including its operation, different system types, and how to design and install a solar PV system. The course £550 and covers a wide range of topics, such as an introduction to solar PV systems, designing and installing solar PV systems, and maintaining and troubleshooting solar PV systems. To enrol in this course, you must possess Level 3 NVQ electrical installation or an equivalent technical certification that includes inspection and testing. In case your technical level 3 qualification does not include inspection & testing, you will require inspection and testing initial verification or equivalent. Additionally, you must possess a BS 7671: 2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition) qualification. If you meet the requirements of the Electrotechnical Assessment Specification (EAS), you can enrol in the course. Those without the necessary qualifications but possessing electrical experience can still attend the course to learn the basics and receive an attendance certificate. Upon completion of the course, you will have the necessary knowledge and skills to design, install, and maintain solar PV systems.
