Our EAL course provides a comprehensive introduction to battery storage technologies. By completing this 2-day course, you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to design, install, and maintain solar battery storage systems, making you eligible to become a qualified MCS accredited installer. Throughout the course, you will learn about the fundamentals of solar battery, including its operation, different system types, and how to design and install a solar battery system. You will also gain an understanding of battery storage systems, including their benefits, different types of batteries, and how to integrate them with solar PV systems. The course is £550 and covers a wide range of topics, such as an introduction to solar PV and battery storage systems, designing and installing solar PV systems, battery storage technologies, designing battery storage systems, integrating solar PV and battery storage systems, and maintaining and troubleshooting solar PV and battery storage systems. To enrol in this course, you must possess Level 3 NVQ electrical installation or an equivalent technical certification that includes inspection and testing. In case your technical level 3 qualification does not include inspection & testing, you will require 2391 initial verification or equivalent. Additionally, you must possess a BS 7671: 2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition) qualification. If you meet the requirements of the Electrotechnical Assessment Specification (EAS), you can enrol in the course. Those without the necessary qualifications but possessing electrical experience can still attend the course to learn the basics and receive an attendance certificate. Upon completion of the course, you will have the necessary knowledge and skills to design, install, and maintain solar battery storage systems.
